Super T70 Turbo - Brand New T70 / .84 "P" Trim

SUPER 70 60.5mm
• A/R RATIO .70
• TURBINE HOUSING A/R .84
• COMPRESSOR HOUSING .70
• T3/T4 FLANGE
-----------------------------------------------------

What do you think?
Too big?
After looking around some more, I realized that actually was a way bad idea lol.
I will be instead, running the 60-1 as listed below. :)

I want to be able to do 400-450hp with a kinda slow spool-up (if you know what I mean lol)
except, I'll probably just have it tuned down to around 275-300hp until I'm able to support the 400.(should be but 4-6mo)

Open to thoughts/opinions, as long as they stay on-topic, clean, and constructive.

I was gonna say 400-450 is a lofty goal. It can be done, but in due time. Good luck.
Way too big bro! :)
I'm contemplating even downgrading my .60 trim so it spools quicker haha
Okay guys!

What would the difference be between a T3/T4 .60trim and a T3/T04E .60 trim? because I can't tell.. they both still have .63 A/R on the turbine side lol :3_withstu
Also, I'm fine with a 3in/2out compressor housing, but i want it to be able to do up to about 400hp., without spooling until about 4k rpmszz!

Are you planning on turbo'ing with the OBX exhaust?
Of course! It'll do me fine up until about 275hp

TO4S 60-1 T4 Turbo Charger
.60 COLD , .80 HOT

I'm liking that too ;) or still too big do you think lol. I don't think I'd be able to get a T04e .60 trim with a large hot side w/o getting it custom from one of the genuine vendors and I don't want to pay 700+ :/

Plus, that also perfectly fits the exhaust up/down pipe I'm getting :)

Anything over 300whp and you'll wanna be looking for a built engine very fast unless you have a wicked tune. The compressor my kit uses is a t3/t4 hybrid with a .60 a/r turbine and a .63 a/r compressor ( if I remember right. I might have those numbers switched around. I'll verify.) which is still a fairly large turbo for our cars. If you want something that spools fast, get a smaller turbo than that. If you're looking for lots of power, don't go to far above that.
I want around that power, except with a slower spool or, larger exhaust A/R to get the very most out of it.
I think that's right.. isn't it? lol

ye full t04

close to 8 psi around 3k rpms, which is dandy. Boost a bit quicker now that heads are a bit ported.
Cool man, thanks for your info, really.
I must say though, that is not what I'm looking for hah.

What rpm range are you looking to spool at? And are you building your engine?
I want to spool at about 3800-4000rpm!
As for decompression, I'm going to try out the decompression plates. Hopefully they'll do well :)
And for FYI purposes, I will not cheap out on a tune, because I'm pretty anal about that stuff. lol

I don't plan on pushing any more than 8-10psi for a while most likely, until ofc I get injectors and such.

Until you build your engine, there really inst a point to extend when the spool begins IMHO.

I'm nit sure I know what decompression plates are. More info?

That's good, but to be honest, anal sometimes isn't good enough. Lol you'll wanna research to make sure whoever does your tune, really knows what they're doing.

If you plan on pushing anything above 5psi, bigger injectors are a must, or you will risk running lean and detonation.
Allright, thanks for the info! I didn't know our injectors were so... small lol.
Gaskets I've seen an application or two with these used. They were pushed up to 17psi, somewhere on here lol.

I lmao'ed. No hate intended at all my man, but there is no way you're going to run 8-10 psi on stock injectors. Our 190's run near full out as it is N/A, I would recommend that you amass all of your parts first, and then do your build. The modular approach you seem to be leaning towards is just asking for trouble, and to spend a lot more money than is necessary.
Yeah I see what you mean. What I was planning on first, was grabbing everything together. I know you can't just buy a few things, put it on, and call it a day :) (although it'd be schweet ;) ) lol

As it stands now, I'll just snatch the T04e .60/.63 from the guy I'm buying the up/down pipe from on here :) Quick clarification.. Let's say I set a MBC to 5psi but the WG spring is 3.5psi. The WG will allow the 5psi, right?

I'm not sure you know what in God's name you're doing. Honestly Stop. Think. & Read. All the tools are laid right here in front of you and you're going a grabbing a mechanic play set from the toy department. There's a lot more knowledge you don't know and your giddy attitude is of major concern. You're risking a motor dude... And those are head gaskets, are you trying to lower your compression ratio or what? Research, research, & research I'll end it there.
Yes.. that's what I'll be using. I've been doing a TON of learning actually. Including reading Maximum Boost, as well as asking a load of questions often.

Ask me a few questions maybe?

its cool

I reach 16 psi at around 5k :) maybe a bit less. No time to focus that closely
Cool! And yeah I bet, lol :) :3_got-hoo

Glad I'm being pushed the right direction. :)

On a second note,

You wont really accomplish anything with head gaskets. Our pistons give out at around 400whp, but our rings go bonkers anywhere between 300 to 400. Just because you lower compression wont necessarily mean you sidestepped this problem. Were still talking about the same material, regardless of compression.

You just leave more room for user error with lower compression, but mechaincal failure will happen regardless
Ahh right, overlooked that one big time. thanks
