Yeah, what if I put on custom whipple screw supercharger running 20 psi of boost and a 125 shot of nitrous and I take it to the track, where halfway down the run my engine blows, spews oil all over my back tires and I loose control and hit the wall.

Will my car be covered under insurrance, my motor under warranty, and I don't have to pay a penny?

geeessssus i had problems with the dealer having injen CAI i couldnt imagine even bringing it to the same block as the dealership

Don't even ask about a warranty and any means of forced induction. Forced induction practically affects every aspect of a car's performance.

Forget CV shafts. Forget intake/ exhaust/ engine/ ECU/ electronics...well about the only thing you may still have a warranty on is some obscure electronic components (if they dealer is nice) and the paint and body (unless you modified the bumper for an intercooler).

Yeah, dealer has to prove it but we all know how that goes. If they say "no" what are you going to do? Throw a temper tantrum in the parking lot?

I know that by going F/I my entire warranty basically is going out the window..

Good thing for me, I have a 6 month cruise coming up ( Good Ole US Navy ). That means I will have enough saved to go F/I, build the bottom end to handle the boost, and buy a spare motor just in case **** happens.
