I got a pair of Kicker Comp 05C124 12" 4-ohm subs with kicker made matching box. Which amp should I get for the subs to pound to their limit? The subs are wired in series now. I dont wanna spend huge money on the amp too.

you should look at the wattage of ur subs and what they are rated at. the max output and the rms output and go just a little bit under that. i have a 1200 watt kenwood sub and i have a 1000 watt amp. you do that so u dont blow ur subs out.

your subs are wired in series so you're looking at an 8 ohm load. If your subs have any kind of power handling ability, the only way you're going to hit it is to buy a amp that has a LOT of power. Its probably a waste of money.

Wire them in parallel and you'll drop to a 2 ohm load and you'll be able to push them closer to their limit with a cheaper amp.

Rewire your subs and then match any quality brand amp to your wiring and wattage.

Don't just buy one you can afford, often times you will end up with a sh¡tty one. If you can find an amp that will match your RMS for your subs, try to get that. If you can't afford it quite yet, wait. Kenwood and Alpine are brands I personally trust. Don't buy a Dual though, lol.
