so this summer, ill be home from college and working everyday. I was planning on getting a suspension kit, wheels, headers, tint, i dunno what else.....but then i got to thinkin, maybe i should just save the money and then buy a supercharger. what do u all think i should do? get all that stuff, or the SC?

i'd definatley go with the kit, intake, and that other stuff because you could make your car look cool as hell plus with an intake, headers and exhaust, youll be making some power and some sound to got with it. with an s/c, ur car will just be a FWD sleeper, but with all those other mods, youll look the part and be respectivley naturally aspirated with I/H/E.

I have to agree with you here on the sleeper comment. I'd rather go for some reasonable power gain + tuning style myself. Then once the H.A.R.D. turbo hits the streets and Hyundai supports it, BOOST IT :)

Yeah if Hard ever hits the streets!!! But hey yeah man i would go with the supsension and other stuff first!! I would want my car to be able to perform well if I had the S/C. I would do all the mods to get it ready for the S/C. Kind of liek I am doing right now to my own Tibby!! I just got my lowering springs and i am going to order the eibach struts pretty soon so that way when i get my S/C in May or June then i will be able to drive it like a bat out of hell and not worry about the car so much as far as handling it. Oh yeah a LSD would probably be a good investment to if you get the S/C

To agree with most people, you need to decide either LOOKS or PERFORMANCE. If performance you need to research which stuff you should do that will mesh nicely with a S/C. If Looks then just stay away from the gate of rice. Research it up...the general word is that doing headers on the Tib actually takes away from the S/C , so you may want to stay with stock headers...

Its all about how much you want to put into your car...a GB for the Alpine Stage 0/1 S/C just ended, great price. Send Max a PM from boostology to see what type of deals he can get on the Alpine now.

you also need to take into account that if you get a s/c you have to get new engine mounts, plus an oil catch can and a new pulley..... there are other mods you ave to do... you just can't slap on a s/c and be done with it..... so you might want to think about what other changes you will need because of the s/c.....

you have to consider where your asking this question also. Like you can try asking this same question the appearance forum and may get a different answer. Anyways the s/c would be very tight, but looking good with a nice amount of pwoer to back that up is tight also
