To further prove my point that genius above me is a newb here is my dyno run with all the same mods listed below with the exception of a Neo, wide band, and light weight pulleys.

bro i would of let this go if u werent a dick about it but ur only at 179hp people with i/h/e manis cams and bbtb are over 200 whp so no u arnt close to what they are running so plz stfu and btw i dont i have cams or manis or a bbtb or even headers for that matter. but u just had to open ur mouth

I wouldnt get a tune with just exhuast and intake until you are done modding the car forever and want maxium power out of it. If you are still going to mod it then wait to get a tune.

Dude that was a year ago bro at the Hyundai Dyno Day at National Speed. And I am over 200 look at the Official Dyno graph section in here and you'll see my sheets. kthnxbuhbye!
look how much i care......:3_headsha u dont have to get all butt hurt and tweak when sumone makes a suggestion. i personally wouldnt tune a car with i/h/e and a bbtb but u did so kudos to u sir :3_bier:

Personally I don't care either he can run rich as hell if he wants not my loss I just made the correct suggestion and didn't add in BS in between. Just goes to show who has the knowledge I suppose and the paper work to back it.

lol if you think your running 200whp with just IHE your the noob here, i can make a dyno say whatever i want that doesnt mean thats what im really running. take it to the track and see, i doubt you will even break 15's. with IHE on my auto i was running 14.9's and i had your most hated borla exhaust ... which actually is about perfect size for a NA tib

btw to answer the original question ... wait until you plan to not really mod more. So if you dont plan on getting headers then go ahead and tune it, if you do then wait

You can get a tune whenever you want with whatever mods you have. It's not like once you tune it you can never tune it again. Run I/H/E and get it tuned (made a world of difference for me), then tune the rest later on. $150 isn't a ton of money for a piggy back tune. Try paying $500+ for a full standalone tune.

Good for you and ur auto tib yeah I know all about the I can make this dyno read wutever ********. personally I don't go in a straight line to get wutever thrills I need. I auto-x and circuit race in VA and SC. But, it's wutever numbers were on a mustang dyno which reads more accurately numbers than a dynojet which through testing shows numbers more at the fly.

sumone knows he got pwned lmfao take it like a man and lay down and bakers tib is faster then urs will every be BTW

wow for someone who doesn't have hardly any **** done to his ride you're one to talk. Plus sure he can have a fast car all he want's but true driving skills don't come down to straight-a-ways.

And I don't lay down for **** cause Im not a puss.

Dyno configuration makes all of the difference. I go dynoed at B.R.E motorsports which uses a dynodynamics dyno and 1.0CF (none). I put down 288/310. 310ft/lbs@3200rpm. At the Draco dyno day I put down 270/262 on their mustang dyno. 262 ft/lbs@5000rpm. No change to the tune. Draco day was in the upper 80's I got tuned on the BRE dyno with temps in the mid 70's. Anyone who drives a subaru knows your peak torque is not coming at 5000rpm with the stock vf39. The dyno was off. Either misconfiguration or done purposefully because of the tuner I chose to tune it instead of them.

I agree though. Racing in a straight line is pretty ho-hum.

wow this thread turned to s hit.

guys pm each other like w hores and argue. The guy was asking a serious question and you two whored the s hit outa it.

To the OP, it's your choice. Tune if you have the money and are not going to mod much further. If you're going to mod further I may be helpful to wait until after the mods, unless you have the moeny to spend and want a tune.
