well the big difference sound wise. u get a usb and ipod adaper for the second one and an extra 5db. if u have or plan on gettin an ipod, definatly the secon one. other wise i dont see a need for it.

well the usb isnt just for iPod.. which is why i was considering it though.. because you can hook up any mass storage media device and it will play through the headunit.. so i thought it sounded pretty good

well u can still run an aux line from the ipod to the 1st... but for an extra 30 bucks id say just go with the 2nd

yeah. i would too. plan for the future, so u dont have to keep buying more. as far as usb. not to familar. only experience with usb i have is building carputers. so i dont know if it has to be in a special format.

Ugh. My dad has a Kenwood and the iPod interface is awful. It's so hard to control, and the buttons are very small in general. Not intuitive at all. But it is good sound quality.

(Oh, and I'm not someone who can't operate technology. It's seriously VERY confusing in design and extremely tedious to browse the iPod through the HU.)

lol... i see.. well i dont have iPod.. personally i dont like them.. and find them utterly useless in the fact that u can only update from ur library.. and cant get any music off it since it copywrights it.. lmfao... sandisk sansa ftw here... but im good with technology and what not.. so shouldnt be hard for me

Excelons have much better sound shaping options and EQs. The other ones suck.
Plus it has a HP and G-analyzer...if nothing else something fun to play with.

Yeah. I definitely reccomend finding a better deal where possible. But be careful. They're not always 100% legit. Check websites and stuff because sometimes you're voiding your warranty and stuff if you buy it from a non-authorized dealer. But yeah. Excelon.

oh i know... i check all the eBay stores that are selling them and what not.. i look to see what specs and details they have up for the product.. and read feedback comments... so far i havent bought anything that has dissapointed me off ebay... lol.. but they have the ones i showed selling for about.. $160 and $180 on eBay... haha.. but yea.. i do all my research carefully
