Hi I recently had to replace the front passenger side front wheel bearing on my 03 Tib i went to take out the speed sensor and it broke. My question is will I still be able to drive the car? I can get one from Ebay Korea for around $60.00 but it will take almost two weeks to get it or to get it locally it will cost anywhere from $115.00-$180.00 it will take a couple of days. I need the car to go back and forth to work thanks for any replies.

i have been driving for 6 months without that sensor..

if you have abs it will be disabled
you will not be able to rev over 5.5k rpm

throw me in that boat too, ive had that sensor missing for as long as i can remember but now its f*cking with my smog so im getting it fixed this week. my car isnt limited to 5k rpm's tho, she drives normal just throws the CEL

Hey OP since mines getting replaced ill sell you my old sensor, the only reason mine is being replaced is because the wire got cut so if you want ill give it to you for like 20 bucks and all you gotta do is splice the wires (if possible)
