I don't think its anything about getting bored with the Tib, but his financial statement makes perfect sense. To build substantial credit all the while able to buy a car that is $100-$200 more a month and still have the same bills would make a lot of sense to me. You must note that although many (even local examples like Landshark) have mileage far above 100k on their Tibs, his ~85k is definitely getting to that point where some things may go bad, and to get the best bang for the buck to pay off his bike and such, now would be the time.

With all that said, I would put money on it that he Doesn't Sell the Tib ^_^
