Well, I'm still not really sure which one I should go with, so I figured that I'd ask my "Tiburon Brain Pool." :3_worship Please post up both good and bad experiences, and any pros and cons you can think of. Price seems to be pretty equal down the board for all three, so I'm mainly just looking for which one is the best for the money. Thanks!

Zt-2, if you have a laptop, no easier tuning kit in my opinion, i use it everyday, tune on the fly (for everday perfect A/F) and its cost compared to mods/dyno time.
Chase
It pays for itseld in like 3-4 mods, as you want it tuned per mod and dyno time is $$$
Hope this helps.

Yeah, I've definitely been looking really hard at the Zt-2 lately. As for the laptop, that part is fine with me because I already use mine to adjust my Mafterburner, but does the Zt-2 come with a serial cable (or USB) to hook into a laptop, or do you need their LCD screen to hook into that? The reason I'm asking is because, if I end up using their kit, I plan on using an Auto Meter air/fuel ratio gauge instead of their LCD (mainly because I don't have anywhere else to mount that thing). Thanks!

I completely agree with Chase. The ZT2 is extremly easy to use, very small you can stuff it anywheres and logs for as long as you hardrive can take. As a base kit it's very affordable. I've been using it for a year now and still love it!

Sweet! That sounds really nice. But do you need their LCD display in order to hook it up to a laptop, or does it just have a USB plug (or cord) on the unit itself (that's what I'm figuring)?

Oh, and while it's hooked up to a laptop, it will display your actual AFR correct? The reason that I'm asking is because the AFR gauge I'm looking at (Auto Meter Sport Comp) doesn't have numbers...it's just the lean or rich indications like most of the other gauges out there. So I figure if I can at least see what the numbers read for my AFR when it's hooked up to my laptop, it will save me the extra money of getting a AFR gauge that has both readings (indications & numbers). Thanks again.

You don't need to have their LCD display and the Zt-2 comes with a serial port connection with it, unless you have and older labtop ot porboly doesn't have that. So just go buy a serial to USB adapter at Best Buy or Radio Shack ($30) and you good to go.

Correct it will display the exact AFR you have. You can also save your runs and examine them later as you move the mouse over the graph it will show you your AFR in relation to your RPM.

Where's have the best price to get the Zt-2 now? Do you replaced off our stock o2 sensor (1st or 2nd sensor?) with the one that come with the zt-2 or just hotwire it?

I have all my O2 sensors installed and the SSA header came wiht a bung for wideband O2. I would have an additional bung welded in and install the Bosch sensor there.

Cool deal. That's good news because now I can just get an AFR gauge with Zt-2 and I'm set. :3_winkthu

I've been wondering the same thing. Do you have to drill another O2 bung in your exhaust for this?
From what I've read about the Zt-2, it looks like you do need to drill another hole (I'm pretty sure that it even comes with the bung to weld on). But I remember reading somewhere that the kit Innovate makes allows you to substitute one of your OEM O2 sensors for the wideband one. But I'm not 100% sure though.

I am running the innovate lc-1 along with the xd-16 gauge. The whole set-up ran me 350 shipped from a GB on ls1tech.com that is on going. I ove it, the only problem is that you can't log with it if you don't have the rpm converter. But the gauge has the sweeping led along with digital readout. If you have the stage 2 mafterburner you can hook it up to that and you won't need the rpm converter to log.

That's a really nice price for that setup, but I think I'm leaning more towards the Zt-2. Oh, and being that you are one of the few that have a 6 speed Assassin'd Tib, what kind of dyno numbers are you putting down? I'm just wondering because I'll be installing my kit as soon as Tim figures out what is wrong with my Mafterburner (or just sends me another one). I'm hoping that with only 7 PSI I'll be right at the 300whp mark because that's my current goal. I really don't want to go much more than that though because then I need to start spending more money for upgraded internals. Also, do you have a Phantom Grip installed, and if not, how well does the factory open diff. handle all of that power (as far as traction problems)? Thanks bro.

Well i haven't dynoed yet with the assassin, I am waiting for some more parts to be made at camp NGM before i blow 150 on the dyno. Thats part of the reason why i just bought the innovat set-up last month. I am running the speedfreak LSD which is just as good as the PG insert, and it's sweet.

Out of topic abit, is the LSD hard to install? Do I need to split the whole transmission up? I'm on a 5 speed I4.
