Yeah, I was out in Belleville over the weekend, and I was sitting in her - oh man I miss my car. After almost 5 years, she still has that "new car smell".Chris,
Just a warning but you may get pulled over with your Trip permit. Happened to me. The cop saw my expired vehicle permit but didn't see the Trip permit. The cop was nice to me, apologized, and said me "have a nice day".
Must be eager to take out the Tib eh?

My car is a weekend pleasure vehicle. I may plan on taking it to the track once our twice just to see what it is like. You would like to think that the stopping power of these brakes must be vastly superior to stockersThat's actually a good price Bing, but i have never been a fan of Willwood, if you plan to drive the car in the winter (which you don't) then your ok, but for the people that do, these calipers are prone to seizing cause the pistons have no inner dust boots, so they are ok for the money but if you really want something better spend the extra cash and get some good calipers like Brembo, SSBC, Rotora, Alcon, or StopTec it all depends on your budget and what you plan on using the car for also, for every day street driving these will be fine, but if you want to try a track even those calipers will not hold up under the demand of heavy breaking....hope that helped.
Yeah they will be much better than stock for sure using a 4 piston setup, but again they are what they are, like just about in every product there are really good ones and ok ones, they will be more than sufficient if only use them once and a while, but like some hard core guys that go every week-end to Solo events, they are often replacing brake pads and rotors and the occasional caliper or least a mild seal rebuild from the excessive heat. So while they are much better performing brakes then the stock ones, they still are not the the best of the best, but Yes they will be very good for your application. My car is a weekend pleasure vehicle. Thanks alot Kevin for your input. I have done a bit of research on this site about that BBK. They talk alot about using spacers and offset. I guess this is to allow the calipers from not touching the rims. I am not sure if I understand the concept here but I've got 18" rims and it seems like I still need spacers. Do these spacers come with the rims or do I have to buy them locally at a shop here? They also talk about template that comes with the BBK. Lastly I researched that one guy had to go with longer wheel studs.Yeah they will be much better than stock for sure using a 4 piston setup, but again they are what they are, like just about in every product there are really good ones and ok ones, they will be more than sufficient if only use them once and a while, but like some hard core guys that go every week-end to Solo events, they are often replacing brake pads and rotors and the occasional caliper or least a mild seal rebuild from the excessive heat. Gamz said:After pulling out of the pit onto the track and into the first corner, I immediately learned two things about my car:
1) I NEEEEED a big brake kit. My brakes felt spongy, weak, and lacking compared to the stopping power the other Tibs had with their BBKs. Much to my embarrassment, I almost went off the track on the first turn, and had to e-brake to compensate, and slid around the corner (most impressively, I might add)
