Who drives a Red tib, with a body kit, i think it was a wide one hard to tell though, with black rims with a chrome lip?
i saw them driving today right by Grant Mac by the accident there. i tried catching up but because of the accident i couldnt.

I got a really god deal on the car. it was a write off because the person was Drunk (or so we think) and didnt have insurance. it had a little bit of body damage, but having a dad with a body shop that didnt really matter. so i only payed $3000.00 for it.hey, the car looks in great condition. mine is also red
how much did you pay?
make sure you seal the lights back tight after you clear the corners to prevent condensation

Mornin ladies.
still getting a little clutch chatter when i slip the clutch..... other than that.... she's drivable...
It's gotta be the motor mounts...
the rear one had a mm or two of play in it correct shiftless?
when i launch it soft she wants to kick back and forth.. but when i launch it hard she's like a rock... bah, i dont get it.

Yeah, Jon. I have a feeling you either need to revert to stock mounts, or use a different technique to make poly mounts. The poly we used seems to hold up but it doesn't adhere to the body of the mount or the shaft, for very long.

I dont even think it's holding up worth crap.... correct me if im wrong but that rear mount had some serious play in it didnt it?
Im proly gonna order the stuff everyone else uses from mcmaster carr.... get er done 100 percent so i dont have this issue again....
I belive brad wants to work on his car 2nite so perhaps u and i can burn out the rubber in the stock mounts we cut up....... get em ready so as soon as the poly comes in we can get the new mounts made....
I also need to replace my passanger side cv axel as we tore the crap outta the boot... i think im just gonna replace em both with rebuilt units for 270 bux it's worth it.
also need to do inner + outter tie rods.... and lower control arms... my front end is falling apart : (

Interesting information - expected Brad to be here by now. Has a lot of stuff to get done so his car can go to the body shop tomorrow. Guess I'll have to phone him shortly to see what his plan is (will hate to wake him up :
.Not too enthusiastic about burning those mounts out - have to find an alternative. With the 100% fire ban in place, we'd have the entire fire department on our backs as soon as we produced some of that nice thick, tarry, black smoke.

That's an expensive alternative to just replacing the one damaged boot.

car is in the ****ING SHOP!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOO. getting bumper fit
