04 Tiburon GT Purge Valve Location

I have a 2004 Tiburon GT, and it has developed a problem where after fueling (not topping off) the car starts then shuts off numerous times before I can leave the gas station. It has now reached the point where I cannot leave the driveway with it as it will not run more than 15 seconds after starting, then it will not start at all. If I wait an hour or so, it will start but will not run more than 15 seconds again. I have been told that it its most likely one of the purge valves, but I cannot locate any info as to where these purge valves are located on the vehicle. Even the Hyundai Service web site is vague as to the locations. Are there two purge valves on the vehicle, or only one? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Awesome! I was looking where the diagram was pointing to on the left of the plenum and it was right where you said on the right side of the plenum. My son has smaller hands and was able to get it out, although the rubber hose on one end was pretty much baked on and had to be cut. I'll just put a new piece of hose on. Thanks a million. I am trying to save this 2004 Tiburon GT Special Edition from the car crusher. It has 238,000 miles on it, but it's all long distance highway miles and the car is in awesome shape. The passenger side needs some minor body repair, but otherwise there is absolutely no rust. The interior still looks new. It does need new head gaskets though. I am losing antifreeze out the tailpipe, however, there is no oil in water or water in oil. I was about to buy the car from my friend, but because of the head gasket, he may scrap the car now. Is replacing head gaskets a DIY job. The shop wants $1400.00 to do it. The mechanic said something about magnafluxing (?) the heads for $400.00 and all including labor would be around $1400.00.

Since this thread is a decade old, I would guess it has been resolved in some way.
