So I am having this loud roaring sound coming from what I can tell the rear of the car, sounds like the whole trunk is revirbrating the sound. Driving down the road from the inside of the car you would think it was like a v8 with a massive riceburner type exhaust on it. ( my car is stock)
thought maybe it was road noise from low tires so I went to discount tires got new ones put on for an amazing deal apparrently the last ones I bought had warranty on them and they gave me 1 for free and other 2 prorated discounted and 4th one was new from a nail in it like 6 mo ago. but drive to work this morning still loud annoying roaring noise.

anyways any Ideas?

My tibby is an 08 6 speed

Maybe you have an exhaust leak? That can make your exhaust extremely loud. Or maybe one of yourirear tires is misaligned, causing big vibrations

ugh that just sounds expensive. I have 43,647 miles anyone know if that is something that is covered?

It's not that expensive to do the rears, especially if you do it yourself, the whole assembly is like $60 or something. But I think wheel bearings might be covered under warranty, doesn't hurt to ask.

So finally made it into a shop today, both rear wheel hub assembly's shot to ****. Both covered under mfg warranty, just going to take a day to complete. Good call on naming the issue.
