It might be your battery going bad, thats what happened to me, my clock reset to 1 am, when i got a new battery it fixed it

i agree, battery is on the way out. same thing happened on my 03

 

Your battery is barely suppling enough current to start your engine; when this happens the voltage drops below the level required to keep your clock time, causing it to reset. Time for a new battery or clean the connections to the battery.

 

have you recently unplug you clock? if so you probably bent one of the 3 connectors in the back...check that. could be a bad connection!

 

check your batt terminals might even be loose

 

if it is the battery hit up costco (if you have those in USA). I just got a Optima yellowtop for 185 brand new.

 

battery or a bad constant fuse ... do you by chance have any issues with your radio keeping memory or dome/door lights working?

 

My clock kind of does the same thing. But only not. I just changed the battery in my tib (I had this problem before the replacement too) but when I start the car the hour will almost always be wrong however, the minutes will always be right. And when i change it to the right hour, sometimes it will act possessed and the hours will start running up like I'm still holding the hour button in. On occasion, the hours will start changing no matter if I touched the button or not. Any idea folks? I've never unplugged the clock so y'all know.

 

I having this same problem. Its like I'm driving through the Bermuda Triangle or something, the hours roll by like seconds. I'm going to try to figure something out tomorrow.

 

had the same issue. wasnt the battery but the clock itself. replaced the clock and it hasnt happened since.

 

same here. $30 later my clock was working again

 

in my car there is something wrong i think it might be a fuse?? so when i get in my car and start it the gauges do a sweep (it has never done that before). also my cd player wont turn on nore will my over head lamps or the door lights and my electronic boost gauge wont turn on either. anyone have any idea what this is?

 

check the BCM fuse

 

take the battery to autozone and have it checked. if its good, then take it from there

 

well i know its not my battery i have a brand new one that isnt even 3 months old. so i dont think its that

 

hmm, then a loose connection to the clock module. i just had to replace mine on my car. not sure how similar they are to the tibs, but im going to say pretty close
