Connected the A.E to Street glow Music activation system
Connected the AMBER parking lights <<<--- Now removed..

This is how is works in the nite. Check out the video

NITE Now
In the photos there isnt much different except they are more bright. But actually the lights looks different due to the reflection and clear T logo glass.

I am considering nite shade on my tail lights. <--- Before

I did night shade my taillights and decided against it later on <-- Now

Spend lot of time designing, customizing, the taillights...
Comments and suggestion more than welcome.

Yeah Man! Freaking Awesome.

I really like your idea to have the street-glow music activation. All you can see now is a pair of eyeballs and tougues near the road side. "They're shocked!!!"

Good Job.

okay.....where to start...........

at first I thought your headlights were on, till I saw the other pic with the custom color for the high beam angel eyes. That's cool. I like the way they pulse to the rest of your neon, and the trunk neon is set up lookin nice. All looks very good together.

Then I saw those tails and I swear I creamed my shorts. Amazing job on those things man, you definitely set up something to be proud of!!!

Thanks guys... After seeings the cars around here.. i thought... I want something different...

I wish I could lay my hands on a body kit, spolier, engine mods, etc.... but i have got couple of issues.

1) I will pay huge shipping (Almost the same price as the body kit)
2) Over here people just keep scratchin or hitting and run while at parking.
3) Parking is an issue and sometimes people park so carelessly and you end up rubbing the curb while getting out of the mess.

You wouldnt believe the Flyryde A.E cost me $65, but the shipping cost me roughly $124. I should have waited for the CCFL, its so damn bright.. :(

You are not the only one having such frustruation, I'm also having the same thing here. In Malaysia, we have less than 40 units of Hyundai Tiburon / Coupe and I can hardly get any accessories or performance part locally.

You know what? I'm not only have to pay quite a high shipping fees but import tax will easily cost me 42%.

However, if you want something different, those money worth its every penny.

That looks awesome man. I really like the Halo's im thinking of getting some for myself and am considering some blue neon's for inside and out.. some may say a bit rice but w/e we all have our different tastes. As far as your car goes i think it looks sick, keep it up!

Had a new EGT probe shipped up. probe + mounting hardware + shipping was just over 100 bux.
UPS CUSTOMS AND BROKERAGE was over 50 bucks......

Hey, due to your valuable feedback i went back to drawing board and re-designed the tail lights... The work was done really quick last time.. This time i spend time to improve the quality of the work.
A quick look at the lights would give you a feel of night shade as there isnt much chrome in the lights....

Check the first post to see the changes..

Also I added a Silver carbon fiber eye lids and a carbon fiber GT wing...

I like the CF eyelids and the tails but don't care much for the Streetglow. In my area, it's so played out, not even the Honda guys do it anymore. I've spent some time in the UAE (loved it) and I can say, you definetely got something different going on.

You should post a DIY on how you did the tails but then you may lose that uniqueness.

Oh, and that wing....to each his own, I guess. Rest of the car looks fantastic though. Good work

Thanks dernt,
UAE is cool in its own way... I am here becoz I am working here. :)

My streetglow is dead, tranny blew up, and I love underbody lighting, going for something different next.

My car is already generating lot of looks and praises due to the uniqueness and rareness of Hyundai Coupes here.

DIY on taillights wont matter much becoz its lot of hassle for such a small improvement.
Nobody would do even if i describe it...

Who would buy lights for $100, open it up...
Paint it black keeping the chorme borders by taping
Import 200 super bright red LEDs from HK
Create a custom T LED circuit board using general purpose PCB.
Cut plexiglass in circle and paint T sign.
Remove/desoldier all the existing LEDs from the Brake light PCB.
Install the superbright LEDs to the brake light circuit.
Integrate everything together.
Glue them together and pray to god this works and doesnt blow up the third day.
Bcoz one LED blown out means it looks silly.

And I love the GT wings, always did.
Its a custom installation.
Mounted a Standard GT wing on the space holes for the OEM spoiler.
I know i will be flamed for the GT wing...

THANKS to NT for the inspiration and support.
Looking forward for more custom mods.

You make a good point about the tails but I'm sure there are some members willing to try it (me) lol

I think the mounting job on the wing is nice but I just don't care for the GT style wings myself.

@garcbomber : Thanks, i am trying to stay away from being called rice... but then some would consider me in the department already. Especially with the underbody neon kit and spoliers.
:)

@dernt : I am going to start a seperate thread about the GT wing... It was a nightmare to install the wing actually. I was lost.

@staw512 : Okay you would laugh at me if you hear this. I got raped with the A.E transaction by flyryde.
Instead of shipping to the local NY shipping address I had provided him, he went ahead and shipped the A.E to UAE on UPS expedited shipping.
It would have cost $10 to ship it to new york address i had given him from there I have a courier service which will deliver it for another $10. So that would be a total of $20 in shipping.
Instead I paid $124 only for shipping for something that costs barely $60.

He had already shipped the item and asked me to pay for the rest.
Yes i got it in roughly four days though. Was dying to get it so i tried to forget the cost.
:(

OTherwise i am very choosy about the shipping.
