The lock on the key fob also does not work. This problem began happening sporadicaly and would either work fine, not work at all or go bonkers and keep the lights on after the engines off and randomly start blinking turn signals.
The relay on the BCM gets tripped and starts clicking doesn't stop til it decides to or i yank the negative terminal on the battery. I changed this relay up the DIY method on this site to fix the stuck turn signal when i bought the car.
Sometimes I could activate the power windows by locking and unlocking the fob while driving although this would usually trip the relay.

Has anyone had this problem yet and found a solution, thanks

I have run into this, and I can offer a solution but i will urge u to never use that key fob again :/
I only know solution for manual.

To override all security, put your key in turn to on poisiton as if your starting the car but don't put foot on clutch.
hold there for 10-20 seconds. turn off, take out key, and u have overridden all security and can start car and all electrics should work.

Hey unfortunately this did not solve the light issue

The light problem actually started happening earlier but once i opened up the passenger door and the alarm did go off. I unplugged the alarm horn and had to bump start the car then got it home, looked up that solution and it worked cause the car started up again. However this did not solve the light issue

A lot of those are powered through the "dealer fuse" which is under a yellow cap on the BCM/interior fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side.
Another issue can be the main BCM power plug in the center of the BCM. It tends to get loose over time and overheats which melts the plastic. A similar issue just came up here in the last couple days, the fix is cheap and easy.

Have you checked the "dealer fuse" as mentioned before?
How are you checking fuses, looking is not enough at times.

Also check the main power wire going into the BCM. It's a single wire, side facing driver, just below the fuses. It can overheat and melt the connector. It also reduces power to the BCM.

The red wire with the black sleeve that has yellow tape on it is the main BCM power feed. It appears fine, although you can see a little discoloration due to heat. Not an issue until the plastic housing starts to melt.

And yes, multiple peeps with similar issue, and multiple ideas to resolve it, but no wrap-up on what worked.
We like when someone comes back and states what worked.

Hello sir, i have a 2002 Tiburon v6 i have the same issue, do you find a solution ?
Have you tried the various suggestions earlier in this thread?
If you find a fix, please come back and post what the fix was.
As you can see, many people with the same issue, lots of suggestions, no follow-up if they resolved it.
