I was rear ended and the car is a write off. If there are any parts anyone wants, message me ASAP. If anyone wants the whole car to part it put themselves and then dump it, make an offer.
The entire back end is destroyed but there is very little damage to the front. My car is at a shop right now and I'll be dumping it midweek. I don't have the time to get the motor and trams out. Car has 165,000kms or so on it. I'll likely just be visiting it once to get some of my things out of it and whatever parts are easily removed. I'll be doing any dismantling in the parking lot so don't ask for the clutch or something like that.

Shop estimates $6,000 to repair.

If anyone has any interest in it at all, just come up with an offer above the scrap price.
I'm incurring a storage fee daily so I will be getting this done as soon as I can. Maximum three or four days.

I'll probably be getting another tiburon because I do still like the car but will be looking for a V6 probably.

Anyways if you would like any parts, let me know, I'll go pop em off and either ship or offer pick up in Markham.

I have already incurred a weeks worth of storage charges while waiting on insurance

I can have it towed via CAA somewhere in the GTA free of charge. I can't store it at my place but if you would like it, feel free to offer anything. A grand would be ideal just so I can cover my tow and the storage costs

I just picked up a window switch for another car for a friend from the junk yard and it was $40 so $50 for 2 seems reasonable to me. If you would like any other parts as well we can work out a package deal.

Basically whatever the general going rate for parts on here is what I'll ask for.
If you want something, I'd like email transfer for payment and I'll hold it for as long as you like for pick up or ship right away. I have no idea on shipping prices but you can use canada post to figure it out. I'll charge actual shipping.

For weather stripping, I guess $35 for the pair. Is that fair? Do they just pop off like on most cars?

do you have the engine plastics? not the engine cover but the engine surround plastics?

I think I just have the one piece that goes over the valve cover and the only other one is the piece that goes from the drivers side headlight to the battery and covers just a little bit of the battery. If you can send me a picture of what yOu are looking for, I'll let you know if I have it.

its the engine cover kit that SFR sells for like 80 bucks, its pretty much a giant u shape from the passengers side windshield down to the front of the hood almost, across and back up to the drivers side windshield. .. covers a fair amount of stuff in plastic.
