@Regit thx! and what do u mean by cover the gear? i still put the spare tire cover/lid back on overtop so i can still use my trunk as a trunk. =P did u put like plexigalss over it n stuff?

 

so in the summer i purchased a fl/2 center fascia and installed it. i had to put my heated seats switches somewhere so i fabricated a switch location in the coin holder spot and painted it n made it look nice. now, i just recently went to the local wreckers and found the FL/2 heated seats switches around the shifter trim. sooo i figured out the wiring from GK to FL/2 heated seats switches (GK has 5 FL/2 has 6) and i put them in now they look presweet

if anyone needs the wire diagram i can help u out. dont think this needs a diy its pretty simple

 

do you have a diagram or layout of the tiburon's exhaust system with the measurements? Im trying to create a custom one and need them. I'll go underneath and measure if I get no where on here.

 

umm what do u mean? im kinda confused.

if ur doing a custom exhaust wouldn't u lift ur car up and cut, angle, and weld the pipes to ur liking?
if its custom u can make the exhaust come out the side of ur car instead of the rear

btw how in the hell do u take the diffuser off? i know its the tabs but holy sheet it took me forever to get 3 off =(

Hey question, how do you like the moog endlinks? Are they tough?Good upgrade from stock?

 

they are deffs worth it they dont feel any different driving but they wont bend =)
they have grease nipple so incase
i would say they are a good buy

aw u know getting my hands dirty here and there no biggy =)

DIFFICULT!!! it was a pima to install!!!!! i had to remove the ecu mount/bracket just to make all the wire fit behind the heater core UGH!!! as for the electrical its not that had to solder and theres diys on were to wire to what wire so its not that bad.

the mounts shake my car more then my bass!!
BUT a question since u have them too
do they make ur car engine sounds different? mine sounds rough or a really really mean loud car

i recently rolled me fenders to make way for new shoes =)
also went to my 1st car meet as a car club
KDM nation vancouver
some awesome down to earth people had a lot of fun even tho the weather kinda sucked but there was another tib!! tibs are a dying breeding in vancouver. they all have gennies now =/...

Just checking in aaaaaand.... I'm very excited about your project! Good stuff indeed. And yes, lots of people own GC's now, oh well. They're as common as the Mustang around here, which for me anyway makes it a little less special (plus I much prefer how the Tiburon looks). But regardless, as long as everyone's getting along then everything's great. I'm curious who owns that blue Tib there also, looks very pretty and aggressive at the same time. I'm assuming an FL bumper is in your list of upcoming mods?

as for the tib his name is Michael Hawkins and im not sure if he has a account with this forum ill have to ask him.
and i know hes got the very tib i want.... blue 04 6spd v6 with both bumper upgrades gaaah....

and yes fl bumper is wanted but to find one that's reasonable is almost impossible..
the closest one iv found is off ebay for about 400$ shipped n painted... thats pretty pricey for one bumper

got it from a canadian company based out of BC named partshub.com they sell a few tiburon parts for a pretty good price =) cheaper then rock autos.

just need a place that will paint all of this =P

 

That Blue beast next Shot's ride, is mine.

I've had her in storage for the last 7 months, and finally gave her a breath of fresh air.

I have posted bits and pieces of her around here, but never sat down and made a profile, yet.

What Shot is referring to for having upgraded both bumpers is, the body is an 04, with a FL front conversion, and FL2 rear conversion. I'm not gonna go into every mod done, but some of the major ones so far are ARK headers and DTS exhaust, ARK DTP coilovers, and XG350 brake upgrade. I have all the equipment to a Stg 2 S/C build collecting dust at the moment as well.

but i got updates!!

recently ordered
xxr's (wont arrive til end of april beginning of may)
sound dampener
KDM cup holder
SFR vent set
battery relocation kit
walbro 255lph fuel pump (should be getting this weekend)
and a 05 elantra fuel pump assembly (apparently its the same as the 07-08 fuel pump assemblies i just hope it fixes the gas light on the fl2 cluster gauge)

and i also just got back my FL front bumper and FL2 rear bumper from the painters!!!

so pictures =)

my bumpers!! i got a small scratch from transporting them =(
but they look awesome i cant wait to put them on!

i took everything off and out to get ready to put the sound dampener in

and this is were everything went
live of a car enthusiast =P

fitted the FL2 taillights and painted them so they dont rust.
gotta say it was terrifying hammering my car =P

got most of the dampener in. still working on it tho
i got 50sq/ft and its done my trunk, 2 doors, and trunk lid, with some left over maybe enough to get the back seats. well see

relocated my battery with 1ga wire cuz ill do a big 3 upgrade with my left over 4ga wire
and also rerouted some engine wires around to make room not fully complete yet.

shes a work in progress but shes getting there. i cant wait to see her all done up =)
