OK OK, after some consideration here is what I'd like to get for my mods...I will be slighty negotiable, and the more you buy the more negotiable I will be...

MBRP exhaust--must trade me your stock exhaust....300

Injen chrome/red intake--good condition, but has minor scuffing on chrome...120

Momo sphere shift knob--used but works fine...40

Tuscani door sills...30

Black stubby antenna...15

RRM red front/rear bars...not sure yet, cant remember what I paid

Multiguages with wires and the little connector...75

Nick Boers lightweight pulley--not sure if I will mess with pulling it off yet...75, w/belt

8" MTX Thunderform enclosed sub/amp in one combo--made for Camaro but fits great in place of stock sub, hits very hard... Will include all cables....200

Short shifter-will sell pretty cheap, but you have to pull it out and help me put back in the stock one...60 (For 5spd only!!)

Tuscani oval steering wheel sticker-never used...5

Thats all I can think of for now...

EDIT--I also have reddish el gills with black mesh covering (just the el light is red) and will trade for stock silver gills....50 w/ trade of silver stock gills

I can post pics of whatever you guys want, and I'd rather not ship so you AZ guys/gals get first dibs.

If I am way off on these prices let me know, I'm not trying to charge an arm and a leg, I'd just like to get a reasonable amount.

Thanks

Jason

EDIT...almost forgot...also have--

Billet grill off ebay (both grill and front part by fog lights)...60 (i dont have the instructions or zipties though)

Trade my clear cornered headlights for your stock ones...my clear corners arent the most beautiful, but they get the job done...includes apc titanium bulbs....80

You mean a Cavalier can actually go 60? From what I have seen they just peel out and do e-brake slides through parking lots.

Pretty ignorant comment.. I take it you only researched 2 types of cars.. A civic and a tiburon correct?

Actually they ecotec cavs and fires are good hense why the drag ecos on the national circuit are running 7s on stock modded heads with the stock timing chain water pump and oil passages

The stock 2.2 eco motors breaking point is about 282HP on stock internals.. Actually this has been proven wrong by people who have tuned the motor properly and have been running around 15-20psi on stock internals and hitting over 300HP at the crank.

On about 7psi on a tuned motor you can yield around 230HP to the wheels.. I've got a vid of a guy back east with his turbo eco from a roll wasting a TA that runs in the 12s. The eco of his didn't hit 12s because the axels on them are weak and break easily so you have to go easy off the line or else you're going to break a axel or just burn tires off.

My 03 eco cav only hit a best of 15.5@90mph bad traction through 1st and 2nd and a slipping clutch another buddy of mine with a eco from a Grand Am was running around a low 15 stock.. still trying to find out more info on if theres a difference between the Grand Am eco and the cav eco.

Bottom end of the eco can handle 500HP no problem. Since the cav is no more the family of cobalts now use the ecotec along with alot of the saturn vehicles.

Really don't talk down about a car unless you actually have a clue about what you're talking about.

Really you want some good reading material look up the ecotec motor you will learn alot about it since unlike majority of imports the ecotec has torque and good top end.

Oh ya and I was doing 60 on th I-17 because it was 2am and it had just gotten done pouring down rain and I hadn't had a chance to get my back tires replaced as of yet only my fronts.

Oh also one of the SCO nights one of the guys I use to get parts from comes down from cali usually to race his sunfire.. It's set up in drag form pushes around 350HP to the wheels and runs a 12 flat smoking the slicks. Nice car also he isn't the type to talk down about other cars.

Geez calm the **** down, it was a joke. As a matter of fact just last night I was talking to Matt about the Ecotec engine and how they were a good engine. Can't take a ****in joke....

And no, I have never researched a Honda, as a matter of fact, I couldnt tell you jack **** about Hondas or their engines or anything.

Sorry just use to dealing with people that automatically hear cavalier and crack a joke or talk **** about them. I haven't run into that with the tib yet. Hondas I was actually looking at a newer model Si Prelude but honestly the thing would probably get stolen within a week since majority of my friends with integras or preludes and civics always end up with someone stealing there car or trying to.

Oh don't get e wrong, the cavalier is still a piece of **** build quality wise. I have had a few friends with them, and I would never buy one myself. Good engine, ****ty domestic quality.

Oh speaking of specs I haven't been able to do enough browsing to get info on the tib yet.. Ok already found the info about them using timing belts. Always fun I hate timing belts.. But anyways Only info I found on the stock specs of the motor HP wise was supposely 250@ the crank seems a little odd about that being the breaking point. Obviously people push more then that just trying to get info if anyone knows..

Also stock axels how much can they handle along with the stock trans.

Stock hp @ the crank = 171 hp/181 trq for the v6, maybe 173/181 trq for the 2005 v6.

As for axles, they are strong. Only one person has broken an axle, and that was due to dropping the clutch at 4500 with drag radials. Nobody has broken an axle due to too much power yet.

And the engine can hold more than 250, that was just a rumor. Many people are pushing more than 250 on stock internals.

Malogus, nah it wasnt me, but it sounds like me, hehe. If you are interested in my mods, PM me so I have a record of who has dibs first.

Right now MB (Chris) has first dibs on the sts, I will let you know if he doesnt want it.

I also have the aluminum factory pedals and dead pedal, which I will sell for 40. One last thing, I am selling the chrome fog light coverings for 15.

Yeah I know the stock specs of the car but I need to know the breaking specs on stock parts. Point is when you start building the motor to know the breaking specs on stock parts so you know what needs to go first. You can always get more power out of the motor then the breaking limit by proper tuning but that takes a butt load of time and patience.

HAHA maybe that question can better be answered by Chris :)
