hmmm..... i just took all 4 screws off and there is no play to adjust the latch. im thinking of just enlarging the holes on it since i need to get it to fot by tomorrow or switch the oem hood back in, which i dont want to do.

there is play, just not enough for u to really SEE...but there is. i had to adjust mine a bit so my hood would close as well. just hold it up as high as u can while u tighten the bolts

just wondering, does anyone know if az/ phx has laws against exhausts being too loud? if so, the maximum db?

naw dont think there is a law against it.. really if there was id have tickets coming out the ass for it... but then again i have no mufflers only cat and resonator. but on another note the louder it is the more cops follow you waiting for you to do something wrong.

thanks for the tip, but i just ended up taking a dremel to the latch to expand the holes.

I think most of us would be afraid that it would blow up next to us idling at the stoplight. Like it has been said before, those first generation Mistu engines were weak as f*ck, and are a ***** to get running. But hey, if you like riding your bicycle places...go for it.
