I thought I would post all the info I know about the TSIII in a thread for you guys across the water. I have seen a lot of different info about so wanted to clear some stuff up.

I live in the UK and have owned a white 09 TSIII for 2.5 years now. Most of the info I have came from Hyundai directly or from following the uk forums for the past 4-5 years.

I emailed Hyundai my vin number to find out if the TSIII had allocated numbers given they are meant to be "Limited Edition" because I couldn't find a plate on the car anywhere stating it. They replied with my number and told me it wasn't put on the car as they were an end of production upgrade essentially and just had some extra bits added on to make sure they sold. The total number I got back was 279 were made in the UK only.

Due to them being the last coupes sold the end of production was roughly from January 08 - January 09 hence why we have some 09 models here.

Now for what's different:

TSIII badge on the rear, door sills and seats
High rise spoiler (OEM here was the low rise)
Lowered on Eibach springs
Anthracite coloured OEM wheels
Janspeed back boxes with quad tips. (2 of the 4 tips are fake and blanked off) It also sounds the same as the OEM exhaust.
Quilted leather interior and door panels that I know you all love.

It only came in 3 colours: Carbon grey, Crystal White and Rose red.

I have seen about 5 crashed and being parted out on EBay over the 4-5 years and the interior is always sold within a few days.

All of this info is to the best of my knowledge and may not be 100% true but its as accurate as I can get from Hyundai, TSIII Brochure and forums.

Rose Red:

Carbon Grey (with cosmetic mods):

Interior:

Exhaust Tips (fake):

Just for fun a TSIII with Red leather interior:

Your right about the exhaust, I always mix up the mufflers name, it is Janspeed. My door sills have a slight rust spot where they are drilled into the car but im not sure if its the sill or the screw that was used that's rusted.

Thanks for the info mate. I had found a copy of the Coupe TSIII brochure a while back and was curious how limited of a run it actually was. I guess it's safe to say that you will never find a true TSIII that is Left-hand drive.
@Patricki7 I'll have to see if you are right about the Tuscani door sills. Pretty sure mine are a low grade stainless... as water does leave a slight yellow (rust) spot over time if not rubbed off. Aluminium wouldn't do that.

There is some literature somewhere that references a different cam.
Also the exhaust only sounds the same until you remove the baffles from the tips. It doesn't make a massive difference but it's nicer.
