i use to think 08 was the best kind..but i love a nice black 06

 

Gaudin Ford has a black 06 with 60k miles on it. They are asking WAY too much but still.

 

But really all tibs are nice, there are some pics of all the years on here that look amazing.

Quite easily the 07. In 08 it looked like Hyundai started to cut even more corners on the car. 06 isn't a bad year either.

 

Since they didnt change anything mechanically, they are all the best

Good point. I really don't understand why they didn't put the MU engine in the 07-08 at least. Hyundai didn't ever really make an effort to improve the cars performance or power. They prototyped the SC but it never cam to fruition. I wish Hyundai would have tried even just a little harder with this car.

 

03-04 for better ecu and gills with an fl front bumper and headlight swap

 

05-06 has the best front and side view but 07-08 has the best rear and interior

 

I agree. I had an 04 GT and now have an 07 SE. Both are great in their own way, but I like the 07 interior a little better.

 

GK gills and Mystic teal paint, FL headlights, front bumper, OEM 16" wheels, red stitch interior, tails, and lastly the FL2 rear bumper and exhaust tips. If I were to pick all stock, I'd say the FL generation is the king.

I like the f/l generation. I would have gotten an 05-06 had I known better at the time. f/l2 front end looks like the product of alcoholic parents.

 

i have an 07 so i think that's the best year! honestly, i've never owned another tib so i dont know much about the differences other than the front and rear ends.

 

personally the 08 looks nice

The '97 will always hold a special place in my heart as it was my first. But My favorite has to be the '05-06.

I would say 06 with the fl2 rear conversion would be the best combo but I love my 07

 

It's pretty simple in that they all have their positives. If you want the best of all worlds then it's most beneficial to build from the FL for the easiest/cheapest transition:

-Mechanical: GK (ECU / Fuel system / Sway bar) + gills
-Exterior: FL (Head lights / Front Bumper)
-Interior: FL2 + Rear bumper / Tail lights / Brakes

06.. since they fixed all the little bugs from the 05..

 

I have an 06 and out of 4 models I have driven and or owned the 06 is my personal favorite,

 

2006 due to the front bumper change.
