Where is the starter located?

I looked at the shop manual and it doesn't show me where it is at....
I used the search and I can't find any threads on it.

I have a 2003 4 Cylinder Tiburon and it won't start.
I replaced the battery with a brand new duralast battery.

I turn the ignition key, lights turn on, no clicking, doesn't start.

So where is the starter located?

This is taken from another site: "the starter is located on the intake part of the block in the center of the engine compartment. from the driver side look for the shifter cables on top of the trans axle and it is straight back from there."

Also, I believe you can follow the pos lead from the battery to the starter.

doesn't sound like the starter is the problem. have you checked the starter relay?
