Hello,

As the thread name mentions, anyone knows the exact part number for 2.7 A/C compressor's coil and clutch part numbers?

There seems to be a lot of weird part numbers on ebay and such.

I called and asked one of the local dealerships and they said:
Coil - 976413A571
Clutch - 64426300

Just trying to make sure... driving in Florida without AC is no fun at all.

Here you go...

COIL-FIELD 9764139000
DISC & HUB ASSY 9764439000
PULLEY ASSY 9764338100

CONTROL-ASSY HEATER (climate control cluster) 972502C070
Appreciate it.

Hopefully it will fit my aftermarket compressor (seems to be the same dimensions but who knows)...
You have to be Frikkin kidding me.........

You asked for info on an OEM AC compressor based on VIN......THEN you state it's an aftermarket compressor.
Whatever info was provided is taken at "user risk" since we have no clue on what you have.

Sheesh.......good luck.........don't blame others for PN's if it doesn't work out.......:frown2:

And? What a bizarre response...you act like I made someone sign a binding contract guaranteeing fitment. I'm not going to hold anything against anyone for fitment issues. Just wanted second opinion for part #s since some end-up being phased-out at times and replaced by others and this causes confusion.

The replacement compressor was direct bolt-on and is still same-as/based-on the OEM HS15 (might have been even made by one of OEM suppliers). It looked identical, at most it might need a shim for correct spacing, if it does not work then compressor will be sent back under warranty, I figured it was worth a try repairing without evacuating refrigerant and taking compressor off for the replacement.

Gentlemen. Since we are on the topic of a/c compressors is it possible to find and purchase the wiring harness (Pigtail Connector) that plugs into the clutch/coil? I have attached a connector that is not for a Tiburon, but, will give you an idea as to what I am looking for to replace. It's the connector that is on the right that snaps into the a/c clutch/coil. (2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 2.7L) (VIN KMHHN65FX3U091923) Thank you. Larry
