I personally like them because they look like the NIA eyelids that are on the 07/08s in the way they cover the lights....that could be because i own an 07 with those eyelids personally i like the look post the finished product asap!

Yup, definitely like the old ones better and whatever's on your hood, take em off lol they take away from the rest of the car.

 

2 all: my car is boosted, gt3071 at 18psi so the engine gets hot from time to time :muching_out:
and in summer we have here temp. 35-40 Celsius SO i need those vent.inserts in my hood,
it will be painted yellow
