excuse all the hand prints on the gloss vinyl. the edging came out perfect. the only thing that didn't, some of the gloss faded. (not noticeable in photos clarity is not good enough)

 

Looks great! Where do you get the vinyl? I've looked for it but apparently not good enough.

thanks for the feedback. i bought my vinyl from metrostyling online. theres also vinyl solutions and ebay lol. all online. i did all these pieces for 5$ do to the rest of my silver pieces i will have to spend another 5$ which i already have. but i wont use all of it so id say in total i will be spending 8$

whats nice is u can do ur entire interior with some samples lol.

 

i am kind of afraid to mess with my airbag in my steering wheel to get my hyundai badge off. any thoughts?

 

If you want to remove it cleanly you should. It's very easy. You just need a drill to drill through the rivets holding it on. I used a drill press because I had one but a hand drill would work too. You can use a hammer and a punch to make a little divet to help keep the drill straight when you start.

I took the weather stripping off. it just pops right off. then layed down the vinyl and clipped the stripping back in place.

You gave me some great ideas, how long did it take you to do the interior pieces? Im a noob at vinyl

 

These turned out really nice, and very inexpensive to do. I may do this as I have no mods to do yet (until spring comes lol).

Some of my interior pieces, like the door handles, are starting to show wear on them too.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but my hood is looking rough and I don't have the money to paint it or go carbon fiber.

Question: I'm thinking of doing matte black on the hood. Should I do the roof (paint is also looking faded there) and hatch as well? Just the roof? The spoiler would have to stay orange as I'm not going to be the first to attempt to wrap one.

 

This Picture is not the best but I like the CF Wrap more than the Matte Black, I wrapped it Matte Black before and I didn't like it

And for the Spoiler I wrapped mine CF already

 

How'd you make such clean edges on the door handles? I think I may try this with the silver carbon fiber look in my car.

 

Now thats some nice work , i was checking out the color CF wrap for my car ! Im thanking on doing part of my hood and doing the roof in CF wrap !

 

I ordered the 3M di noc carbon fiber for $50 24x48 to wrap my sub! But I think I'll use the good expensive stuff for my interior trim and use some cheaper $8 stuff for the sub since it won't be seen as much as the dash etc.
